1. Get Started
To get started, choose a site that you’d like to wrap with FutureSeaLevel.org tape. This can be any type of building, even your own home or school.
You should get some idea of how much tape you’ll need by measuring your building. Click
here to order tape. Each roll of FutureSeaLevel.org tape is approximately 180 feet long.
It is very effective to do the installation in conjunction with some other event, such as Earth Day, Focus the Nation, or Step It Up and maybe even tape your site at the same time other sites are doing FutureSeaLevel.org installations.

2. Get Noticed
Approximately three weeks prior to your installation, you should send out a press release to your local television and radio stations, as well print media—the local newspaper, neighborhood newsletters and magazines. You can send this by email, fax or snail mail.
On the morning of your installation, you should send fax or email a media alert, reminding media about your event. It is especially helpful to send this to the “assignment editor” at your local TV stations.
Other groups have had a lot of success by having speakers and other arts and educational activities at the opening of their installations.

3. Share Your Success
Let us know about your FutureSeaLevel.org art installations. Send us photos, videos, and links to media coverage. We’ll pick the best ones to feature on this website.
- The best way to send us photos is to post them on a public photo sharing site like Flickr.com and email us the link. Alternately, you can save your photos as jpeg files and email them directly to us.
- The only way to send us videos is post them on a public video sharing site such as YouTube.com and email us the link.
